The Arctic Hooded Jacket is a sporty hooded jacket with elastic flatlock seams. The integrated Polartec Thermal Pro gives the jacket an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio. For example, the midlayer can be worn well under a ski jacket, or as an upper layer during cooler winter days. The jacket is made of polyester, which makes it very lightweight and quick-drying. It is equipped with 2 side pockets with zippers, so you can easily store the small necessities.
Polyester is a synthetic material made from petroleum. It is a durable, smooth fabric that feels soft. In addition, it is lightweight, does not need to be ironed and dries quickly. A disadvantage of polyester is that it does not absorb moisture well, is not very warm and does not breathe very well.
The Arctic Hooded Jacket is produced without the use of environmentally polluting fluorocarbons (PFCs). The use of PFCs in the textile finish ensures that clothing becomes water, dirt and grease repellent. An alternative finish without the use of PFCs has been used in this product. This makes the product water and dirt repellent. Only an oil repellent effect cannot currently be achieved with a PFC-free finish.
